Very vintage signed Lillian Pines sterling fan pin. A contemporary of Mary Gage, as they both died a year apart from each other in the early mid 90's. While this maker was born in New Hampshire, Mary Gage died in nearby Maine. This fan style is her familiar motif using applied silver balls and curly Qs. Marks in back include Anchor, Lion and small "b" with maker's mark of "W A" all of which are in depressed cartouches, also numbers 5 & 2 superimposed and an 8 as model or style number.
