This is or in the style of a Japanese mid century banko ware round hanging wall pocket vase still showing old wooden beads, frayed threads attached, and illegible mark. This banko hanging vase is in a hunter green background with 2 irises in the front and 3 irises on the other side. The interior shows a dusty hard grayish porcelain and even the potter's finger imprints can be seen! It is 6" or 15cm across. An illegible mark present- please see image. While there is no damage, some crazing and a few "slip smudges" can be seen. The former from age and the latter often happen during the firing process.
