This item has been Sold. c 1900 Hammered Arts Crafts Pin Brooch Stamped "Frost" in upside down pyramid for George Frost Arts & Crafts Studio of Dayton, Ohio. 2" X 7/16" with lots of patina commonly found in these pieces and perhaps hints of gold finish on brass. Very nice unpolished condition with just a slight wave to pin stem.

Art Nouveau gilded, leaves, hammered tendrils, motif. Screwbacks tested sterling, although leaves appear to have a very nice gold wash. SIZE: 2" long. This type often has a small rectangular tab stamped 'Handmade Sterling'. This one has neither, yet it is guaranteed tested to be at least sterling. Look at the applied chased leaves, flower petals, curls all layered on to a rectangular base with a double row 2mm shank. 7/8" X 5/8"...
