Yikes! It was the thought of eating genuine Texas beef brisket BBQ that prompted this near recluse to venture out and brave the crowds. Made a bee line to Cowboy's BBQ for the most delish brisket, potato salad and Texas toast! Had to go back to bring home more of same and a bottle of Cowboy Green's BBQ sauce. Don't laugh, but even my parakeet loved it! The BBQ brisket, that is. Southerners living in the Boston area, if you are hankerin' for the real "enchilada", this is it! This event is the brainchild of the Andelman family. When you go, tell Dan, Dave, Michael, Ed, Judi and sweet Tina, that Mimi sent cha! The 80 mile round trip from here is well worth the drive to savor the best Tandoori prepared chicken or lamb around. Oh, and the naan! Fresh from their Tandoor in so many varieties! Last visit we tried plain and peshwari naan with our meal and bottle of wine which by the way starts with a toast, 'may we be dining guests of Yash & Shaila's for at least 20 more years'. The place is spotless clean and the aromas that meet you at the door to their superbly decorated restaurant will give you a hint of your dining experience. Only the freshest herbs & spices are used to prepare even 'mild-to-order' if you'd like. The buffet will make you wonder why go anywhere else. We like to take an extra order of Tandoori chicken, each piece prior to freezing for a later feast deserving of 'gift wrap and a ribbon to unwrap and enjoy another day'. Evenings can get busy, but if you stop for lunch you might even get Om to start discussing the stock market, his 'previous life' prior to assisting his wife Shaila and her business partner Yash in opening Tandoori Grille. When you have reached this section, you will find her Signed Studio Sterling Silver Sculptures, both in Jewelry and actual Fine Art Sculptures that have been entered in Art Shows, and the Art To Wear Fiber Art Garments Created One at a Time by Ms. Dee herself. There are not many Signed Sterling pieces now (look for her Maker's Mark Stamp), nor will there ever be many later, as hand fabricating these take a toll on her hands.
