This 72.8 grams sterling quintessential Art Nouveau oversized 4.5" brooch is most likely the boldest, heaviest Unger Bros brooch on the net. This circa 1900 "C" catch sash buckle ornament pin with "hasp" is marked: "Sterling 925 Fine" Unger Brothers. They were known for their "repousse" look on thick silver. Very modern mid century pin earrings set stamped and signed STERLING REBAJES on the pin only as the moderne screwback earrings are just stamped Sterling on the turn wheels.
Rebajes' foreman was Otto R Bade and also made these in the same mid century modern style. This pair however, is made and marked by the former.
The pin is 2 5/8 X 1 1/2", the ears are 1". 1/2 Oz or 16 Grams.

The clasp is marked K24 for the highly decorative 24K gold metalwork of multi figural butterfly, bird, moon, boat, flower, etc in gold silver inlay motifs. Acquired from an Amita jewelry collector. This is so well executed that it is very likely an unsigned Amita necklace.
