SOLD 5/17. Vintage circa 1935 brass black enamel green molded glass 15X20 high dome cabochon adjustable ring.
Similar Pendant seen on pg 146 of Ettinger's Popular Jewelry 1840-1940 2nd edition. Perfect enamel and stone is in great shape with some gilt off the brass through out the shank and back.

Art Deco Egyptian Revival Brass Bookchain festoon necklace with 5 oval pierced pressed red glass oval drops found at the same estate of a collector who collected very theatrical jewelry. It along with the turquoise color one were acquired some 15 years ago. This type of book chain festoon necklace ending in a decorative fold over clasp were often seen worn by Victorian women as well. Again, one can almost see this in some silent movie of decades past.....

Sold. Rectangular, Linear with stripes of Cobalt Blue, Emerald Green and Golden Yellow Enamel and a Square Blue Art Glass Cabochon with tiny mold lines at center. Simply marked with a "U" and an arrow for Uncas. Heavily gold plated or gold filled, though not marked as such. Well taken care of as very little if any wear can be noted. Size 6 and the top is 7/8" X just under 1/2" wide...

Extra Vintage and some would say much like the work of Doris Cliff, yet others have said more like Oakes or Hale? The last two, after all were medalists winners at Boston's Society of Arts & Crafts established in 1887.
Then there are those who would say that the use of those leaves is all Bernard Instone who also used the split shank construction. Note the applied leaf at upper right that can also be found on other rings found and acquired here: # 287743; 352251; 346567...

Some would say that those leaf motives look much like the ones Bernard Instone favored.
