Applied face foliate motifs and an ecru clay bead with Egyptian symbols front and back as the 'stone'. Note the split double shank construction. Lots of character! Approx size 7.25 Unsigned Unmarked as many Arts Crafts pieces, yet tests at least 90%. Extra Vintage and some would say much like the work of Doris Cliff, yet others have said more like Oakes or Hale? The last two, after all were medalists winners at Boston's Society of Arts & Crafts established in 1887.
Then there are those who would say that the use of those leaves is all Bernard Instone who also used the split shank construction. Note the applied leaf at upper right that can also be found on other rings found and acquired here: # 287743; 352251; 346567...
