Clasped hand fede gimmel or gimmal or as in previous centuries known as betrothal rings, throughout Europe. 3 sterling rings hinge open to unclasp a Hand Motif, some numbers, letters and what appears to be assay #1 and stamped Mexico. All marks are found between the 3 hinged parts. When you get it home you loupe it and discovery it's mystery maker. Size is approx 4 3/4. Very good. What makes this unusual is that while Victorian pieces are not often available, how many of these are made in Mexico? Made in Mexico for a couple of European descent? Sold, no price, no info
