Very Vintage Pin Brooch, possibly Austro Hungarian, as the mark in back is bird like. Marked in back '900' and is in the shape of a Peacock Bird almost like that of the Czar of Russia Symbol, except that this is one headed, complete with a spray of feathers between the claws and showing strong stance. Persian? Austro Hungarian? Stands at 2" X 1 7/8" wing span and weighs .6 Oz or 19 Grams. Very nice cast, pre-owned, unpolished condition with lots of rich darkening in the crevices.
