Florence Peruzzi jewelry has not had a published relationship to the more collectible and harder to find jewelry created by the former Gino M. Peruzzi Jewel Shop of Boylston Street in Boston MA. All that is known is that Gino came here from Italy and enjoyed a healthy rivalry with G. Cini who was said to have moved his store 2 doors from the other. This info given by a client, of www.mimideeartwear.com, who currently resides in WA but was from Boston. This is Sold and is C 1950 Massive Peruzzi Florence 800 (marked on oval lozenge) Cuff with Clip on Earrings demi Parure with oval almondine garnet cabochons. Many say that the 800 mark means circa 1900. But how so when the clips on this "800" piece could not have been made until after 1930. So many questions... So much hand cut work on Sterling and granulation. Marked with oval lozenge. Sold, no price, no info available
