Bit of History: Babe Ruth's is one of the many famous men's lockers still there. A historic Grand Hotel where the international monetary standard was set decades ago and an interesting stay for a weekend or a week any season of the year. Stayed there a few days about 15 years ago in the winter - we were the only ones walking the huge wrap around veranda - in the freezing cold! Were I to paint this again, it would be without the modern paved roads, street lights, and other modern man made objects...
