Three pc lot Vintage Silver Pins 2 Mexican, 3rd maybe Native American: A) Aztec or Maya Calendar 17/16" across marked 3 assay mark and what looks like conjoined JMB 925 'Taxco Mexico'; B) Pre assay time c1940 5 applied petals flowers 1 3/4" X 3/8" simply marked Sterling Mexico; C) unmarked unsigned (Native American coin silver?), might even be American Arts Crafts or Studio Student, w no matrix turquoise (?) 5 mm bezel set cab. Pre assay era. Huge 4 3/4" - 1 Oz - 2 turquoise flower figural repousse chased in the style of Fred Davis or Matilde Poulat Quetzal Bird Parrot Pin stamped: SILVER MADE IN MEXICO will not disappoint! Elsewhere without the stones is $350!!! The pin findings and marks are of the earliest types used in the 30s & 40s. This was completely black when found, then lightly hand cloth polished, leaving plenty of decades of rich dark patina in the multitude of 'feathers' and crevices. Circa 1960. Haven't you seen the faces of this Silver Bracelet marked: MEXICO STERLING EME & assay 83, a listed silversmith, before on other jewelry? Very pre Columbian, Mayan, Aztec motifs. 18 Grams, 3/4" wide X just over 6 1/2" Inside W the push V box clasp Engaged. Can be lengthened by adding jump rings. Floral Bow Reminds one of Matilde Poulat 'unmatched' turquoise, stamped 22 assay shared by Fred Davis, Bernice Goodspeed, Antonio Pineda et. al., it is no doubt in good Taxco Silversmiths' company! 9 florals have multi blue & green color 4 mm turquoise centers. 3 1/8" X 1 7/8" and in untouched unpolished condition, yet will lightly hand cloth polish FREE when requested.
