Vintage brooch pin pendant sterling silver hand made piece stamped: 925, Mexico, and what appears to be TA-95. The T for Taxco and one can only hope any of the famous Taxco silversmiths whose name begins with the letter "A". Nice heft at 1.3 ounces or 38 grams on a postal scale. North to South is > 2 1/4" and has a 10mm clearing bail for your omega. Vintage Circa 1945 early pre assay Mexican Pre Columbian bird man mask ethnographic motif repousse pin stamped: Made in Mexico Sterling and old style safety clasp hinge. A most talented silversmith took a sheet of sterling and hammered it onto a pitch bowl to create such repousse detail. Because it is holloware one looks for the "air escape openings" which in this case are found at one ear. Approx 1 Ounce or 27 grams of sterling and 2 1/2" X 2 1/4". Hefty hammered footed dish stamped: Listed silversmith S. dela Serna, Sterling 925, Hecho en Mexico and a faint 24 assay mark for this listed silversmith.
