Antique circa 1870 Fleur de Lis pin open work cut chased brooch with curly "C" closure, tube hinge and extended pinstem is marked "800" probably for the earliest of the Italian Peruzzi Florence work. At quick glance one thinks an early Native American or Mexican Taxco ring? One look at the ornate foliate shank and applied silver leaves at the shoulders tells a different story.
