Acquired pre internet era as a most collectible antique Victorian Black Coral bracelet carved crossover bypass bangle in Victorian snake motif. It has an ethnographic odd snake appeal as well. Initially it looked more like dark wood, yet when louped the "knots" where the coral spines or branches once originated were found to be numerous! Red hot needle test would not go through "like buttah", so it is Not plastic! Two very vintage fab tinted genuine carved ivory pin brooches. Story goes that in Victorian times some tea tinted their carved ivory and so was Hawaii's Ming's earlier jewelry! Vintage Filigree Niello Silver Persian Gulf scenery bracelet while being shown at a show 12 Years ago was seen by an elderly engineer who worked in Iran in the 50s. He said, '...this bracelet was commissioned by the Shah of Iran as a gift in gratitude for our wives of engineers who were there building the oil fields...' Note the odd motifs scribed on to the niello. Tests at least 90% silver and measures 6 3/4" inside while secure clasp is engaged and is in very good unpolished shape. Vintage Antique Souvenir Sweet Heart Silver & Tortoise or Horn Necklace handmade with 13 graduated sized Hearts with floral, palm tree, pierced inlay designs on to the natural matter with the largest center showing "Fiji" under 2 palm trees. The naive hook and eye tests between 90% and sterling. Did not test the chain nor the inlay pieces, as these due to age may be 90% plus in content. This is not about the silver content but about the sweetheart necklace's charm. 18" long, stations are 1" to 1.5". Super vintage antique condition. Vintage Marked "Made in Hong Kong" these 2 silver color metal Hairpins Hair Pins, probably nickle plated, each with 5 small bells and 13 round 'bells' that make such a delightful sound. The 2 prong piece is a bit under 3" long and the chain/dangle part is 3" long and in very fine condition. Similar seen in a book for so much more! Please view pix.
