Late Art Deco carved pre ban ivory ram bracelet - yet at a quick glance the face reminding one of a stylized graceful and aloof Saluki - in the clamper hinged style with what appears to be gold fill or gold plated metal fittings. Measures 7" around interior X just under 5/8" @ widest. Beautiful mellow aged condition with just a bit of the gold color fading on the interior portion of the (strong) hinge, where it should show its decades old age! Vintage Filigree Niello Silver Persian Gulf scenery bracelet while being shown at a show 12 Years ago was seen by an elderly engineer who worked in Iran in the 50s. He said, '...this bracelet was commissioned by the Shah of Iran as a gift in gratitude for our wives of engineers who were there building the oil fields...' Note the odd motifs scribed on to the niello. Tests at least 90% silver and measures 6 3/4" inside while secure clasp is engaged and is in very good unpolished shape. Acquired pre internet era as a most collectible antique Victorian Gold Black Coral bracelet carved crossover bypass bangle in Victorian snake motif. Gold one can be almost black in color. It has an ethnographic odd snake appeal as well. Initially it looked more like dark wood, yet when louped the "knots" where the coral spines or branches once originated were found to be numerous! Vintage Antique Souvenir Sweet Heart Silver & Tortoise or Horn Necklace handmade with 13 graduated sized Hearts with floral, palm tree, pierced inlay designs on to the natural matter with the largest center showing "Fiji" under 2 palm trees. The naive hook and eye tests between 90% and sterling. Did not test the chain nor the inlay pieces, as these due to age may be 90% plus in content. This is not about the silver content but about the sweetheart necklace's charm. 18" long, stations are 1" to 1.5". Super vintage antique condition.
