A Kitty's face only a Mama Cat could love! Naive engraved face Mod Silver Cat marked in back: "Coro Mex Silver". Hector Aguilar made jewelry for Coro from 1943 to 1950, less than 10 years after having worked at Spratling's Taller de las Delicias. Nice haft at .8 Oz or 23 Grams! 3" x 1.5". Heavy cast piece with normal lines that 50 year old silver gets. Except for the malachite stone at tail tip's end, it is in very nice condition. See Scans, Pix and please call or write for more info.

Older Wider Silver Cuff marked "Hecho en Mexico" & "Talleres de los Ballesteros Taxco" around their distinctive "B" mark. The Hecho en Mexico is around the "925". There are some initials after the word Taxco "I G...". Just over 1 3/4" wide (4 tier style) and weighs 1 oz or 28 grams on postal scale. 6.5" inside includes the 1" flexible opening for the Small Wrist who wants to Wear a Big Bracelet! Very nice pre-owned condition with lots of nice dark patina under applied rope and granulation design. SOLD, no price, no info

SOLD. For the collector of the figural and unusual. Possible mark for a Melendez silversmith? Rafael, the uncle of Emma worked for Spratling until 1939. Ethnographic characteristics of ancient figural symbols seen at Mexican pre Columbian sites. Detailed Iguana Lizard adjustable Ring with legs, scales, open mouth and head up so that when worn toward wearer, its head rests on one's knuckle beyond bottom of finger. Presently 7.5 yet can adjust to fit the collector. 1/2 Ounce on postal scale and top 1.25" long! SOLD, no price, no info
